Practice pages, client intake, and retainer invoices

A law firm, accounting firm, or consulting practice usually publishes expertise pages in one product, collects new-client intake in another, books the consult somewhere else, then invoices the retainer from a fourth tool. VoVo keeps the practice site, the intake form, the consult calendar, the retainer invoice, client email, and the help desk in one login and one database. It does not give legal or tax advice, run a bar conflict search, promise HIPAA handling, or replace a certified case, tax, or payroll system.

The firm site is a practice brochure, not a coaching funnel

Partners and principals need public pages that name the work of the firm: practice areas, bios, how a new client starts an engagement, and what a retainer is for. Build those pages on the visual CMS. That is a different job from a coach selling session types, courses, and masterminds, and a different job from an agency launching a white-label site for every client. The firm keeps one branded practice site. Clients of the firm are people on that site, not each a separate VoVo account.

  • Practice-area pages and partner bios on the visual CMS
  • How the firm starts an engagement, written by the firm
  • One branded practice site, not a white-label client fleet
  • No course catalog or mastermind membership as the lead product

Intake and the consult, then the retainer invoice

Intake happens before the consult, and the retainer happens after. Use Forms for a multi-step new-client questionnaire: related parties, documents the firm asked for, and the scope the prospect thinks they need. Book the consult from Appointments, including intake questions on the booking form. After the consult, send a retainer invoice through Payments. Paid bookings and calendar connections depend on the current plan and configured services; ask Support to confirm those for the site. VoVo stores what the prospect typed. It does not certify a conflict check, bar compliance, or HIPAA.

  • Multi-step intake forms with file uploads and conditional fields
  • Consult appointments from hours the practice publishes
  • Intake questions on the booking form, written by the firm
  • Retainer invoices after the consult, paid on-site when Payments is configured

Email and a client help desk after the retainer is in place

Once the retainer is signed, clients still ask about invoices, documents, and next steps. Email those clients from Communications in the same account. SMS is not available. Open a help desk ticket when the question belongs in a thread, and keep approved help articles for the answers the firm is willing to publish. Invoices for retainers and billed work can be named and sent. Payroll tax calculation, payroll finalization, and tax filing are not offered. Questions about VoVo itself go to /contact.

  • Email the client list from the same account (SMS is not available)
  • Help desk tickets for engagement questions, with human replies
  • Retainer and work invoices; no payroll or tax filing
  • VoVo product support uses /contact, not a staff email
